6. Start the programme8. Interrupting a programme
Before starting up the machine check that:Depress the Start/Pause button to interrupt a programme
the appliance is plugged inwhich is running, the corresponding light starts to flash.
the water supply tap is turned onDepress the button again to restart the programme.
the drain hose is correctly and securely positioned
9.Cancelling a programme
the door and the detergent dispenser drawer are
closed.Turn the selector dial to O to cancel a programme which
is running. Now you can select a new programme.
To start the selected programme, press the Start/Pause
button; the corresponding light stops flashing.

If the Odoor� light flashes and after 2 minutes goes off,
the door can be opened.
If the Odoor� light doesnOt flash, this means that the
machine is already heating, that the water level is above
the bottom edge of the door or that the drum is turning.
In this case the door can not be opened.
If you cannot open the door but you need to open it you
have to switch the machine off by turning the selector dial
